With the mission to foster inclusivity and create opportunities for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the McKenna Foundation has supported the Rock Haus Foundation.
The Rock Haus Foundation envisions a community where individuals with IDD are welcomed and encouraged to participate in meaningful activities. Offering programs such as music, art, dance, and chair-based Zumba, Rock Haus delivers transformative experiences for the IDD community in New Braunfels. In addition to these programs, they also offer a special parent advocacy group, a service provider coalition, and bi-monthly Rock-The-Haus dance parties.
In partnership with the McKenna Foundation, Rock Haus continues to offer opportunities for education, employment, recreation, socialization, and self-advocacy for the IDD community in New Braunfels. Rock Haus also plans to continue its expansion by creating a campus-like setting right in the heart of our community.
