Guided Tour: Native Grasses
Celebrate the beauty of autumn with a guided tour through the restored savanna at Headwaters at the Comal! We’ll explore the “big four” grasses of the tallgrass prairie, discover shade-tolerant species, and discuss native alternatives to traditional turf. You’ll leave this tour with plenty of ideas and inspiration for your own landscape. This tour is led by Conservation Program Specialist Jack Downey. The tour begins at 8:30 AM and lasts one hour. Afterward, you are welcome to explore on your own.
