The Director of Finance serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors and is responsible for the overall financial management, compliance, and fiscal integrity of the organization. This role ensures sound financial stewardship of organizational resources, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains strong internal controls in alignment with nonprofit best practices and regulatory requirements. This position provides essential phone-based and administrative support by managing the community information and referral hotline during peak hours, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with program coordination and reporting. This position will be stationed away from the primary Resource Center desk and will not remove in-person service opportunities or shifts for volunteers that serve our clients. This position aims to relieve volunteers from answering phone calls during peak hours. This position will in no way will replace the much-needed and much-appreciated volunteer work.
