PROVISIONS: A 25:35 Outreach
Established by an alliance of churches, Provisions is a non-profit food pantry serving our rural neighbors.
Provisions’ tagline, “A 25:35 Outreach,” is inspired by Matthew 25:35, which reads, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” This passage underlines the Bulverde-area food pantry’s dedication to supporting those in hardship.
Since the beginning of the year, the pantry has served up to 80 clients daily. In 2023, it supported 5,000 households and welcomed approximately 550 new families. Every month that same year, Provisions distributed around 34,000 pounds of food.
With the vision to support individuals and families struggling to live day-to-day, and provide the tools and resources to foster self-sufficiency, Provisions continues to be a vital entity for our rural neighbors.
