ACACIA
Acacia was established in 2006 as a non-profit medical mission committed to providing free faith-based healthcare and wellness services for Comal and neighboring counties.
Since opening the health care clinic in 2011, Acacia continues to be a resource for uninsured and underinsured individuals. Supported by United Way of Comal County, funders, HIS Centre, local churches, and volunteers, Acacia offers services including primary medical care, wellness exams, testing, therapy, prescription assistance, and more.
Their providers also conduct outreach in the community to treat unhoused or uninsured individuals through programs such as the McKenna-funded Wellness on Wheels (WOW Clinic), HOME Team, and First Footing.
