BULVERDE SPRING BRANCH ACTIVITY CENTER
The Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center (BSBAC) was established to serve seniors in the Bulverde and Spring Branch areas, aiming to provide a space for older adults to socialize and remain active in both mind and body.
Through a variety of social activities and health and wellness programs, BSBAC provides educational opportunities, socialization, and activities designed to guard against isolation and depression, while also supporting seniors in staying healthy and independent.
BSBAC also offers nutritional support, community outreach, and transportation services. This includes on-site dining, Meals on Wheels, wellness checks, and transportation assistance for seniors who might not otherwise be able to leave their homes.
In 2022, BSBAC welcomed over 250 new members and recorded over 850 members participating in fitness and other activities, totaling 37,591 visits. That same year, the Meals on Wheels program provided 14,950 meals to over 100 homebound seniors.
