BULVERDE SPRING BRANCH ACTIVITY CENTER
The Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center (BSBAC) was established to provide services to seniors in the Bulverde and Spring Branch areas. Over the years, BSBAC has maintained steady growth and has relocated to its current building on Cougar Bend due to the increasing membership and programming.
The center offers programs such as Meals on Wheels, Senior Outreach, Social Activities, and Health & Fitness, creating an engaging and enjoyable environment for individuals 50 and above.
The Health & Fitness program includes activities such as active aging strength, balance exercises, pilates, yoga, and line dancing. Other activities offered at the center include bingo, table tennis, bible study, wood carving, and day trips. With these diverse offerings, BSBAC has welcomed 253 new members in 2022 alone. Additionally, in the same year, over 850 members checked in for fitness and activities a total of 37,591 times. The center also provided 14,950 meals to over 100 homebound seniors and raised over $45,000.
BSBAC continues to fulfill its mission of enhancing the quality of life for older adults and facilitating active aging. The center is located at 30280 Cougar Bend in Bulverde, TX.
